Is my presentation uploaded to a server?

No, everything happens locally in your browser. Your presentation files never leave your device, ensuring complete privacy for confidential content.

What PowerPoint features are supported?

The viewer supports text, images, basic shapes, and backgrounds. Complex features like animations, videos, SmartArt, and 3D effects may not display correctly.

Can I edit presentations with this viewer?

This is a view-only tool. To create or edit presentations, use our Slide Deck Builder tool or the PPTX to PDF Converter to export slides.

What are the keyboard shortcuts?

Arrow keys or spacebar to navigate slides, Home/End to jump to first/last slide, F for fullscreen, and Escape to exit fullscreen.

Can I view.ppt files (older format)?

Currently only.pptx files (PowerPoint 2007 and later) are supported. For older.ppt files, you'll need to convert them to.pptx first.

Is the PPTX Viewer available?

Yes. FindUtils PPTX Viewer requires no signup, no usage limits, and no watermarks. You can open and view as many presentations as you need without any restrictions.

Does the viewer work on Chromebooks and tablets?

Yes. The viewer runs in any modern web browser including Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Edge. It works on Windows, macOS, Linux, Chromebooks, iPads, and Android tablets.

What is the maximum file size I can open?

Because processing runs in your browser, the limit depends on your device memory. Most modern devices handle presentations up to 50 MB without issues. For very large files with many high-resolution images, performance may vary.

Can I use this viewer to present slides to an audience?

Yes. Press F to enter fullscreen presentation mode. The current slide fills the entire screen and you can navigate with arrow keys or spacebar, making it suitable for meetings, classrooms, and informal presentations.

How is this different from PowerPoint Online?

PowerPoint Online requires a Microsoft account and uploads your file to Microsoft servers. FindUtils PPTX Viewer requires no account and keeps your file entirely on your device. The trade-off is that complex animations and embedded media are not supported in the browser-only viewer.
