How to Merge Videos

  1. Upload Your Video Clips

Drag and drop your clips into the upload area or click to browse. Select up to 10 clips totalling no more than 5 minutes, and make sure they all share the same resolution.
  2. Set the Clip Order

Use the up and down arrows to arrange the clips in the order you want them to play. Remove any clip you do not need with the X button.
  3. Merge the Clips

Click the Merge Videos button. The tool decodes each clip in order and joins the picture and audio into one continuous video in your browser.
  4. Download the Merged Video

Preview the joined result and click Download to save it. The output has no watermark and is ready to share.

Common Use Cases

Combine Phone Clips into One Video

Phones often split long recordings into separate files. Merge them back into a single continuous video.

Build a Highlight Reel

Join your best moments from a trip, event, or game into one shareable highlight video.

Assemble a Simple Edit

Stitch intro, main, and outro clips together in order to create a basic edit without installing software.

Create Compilations

Put related clips one after another to make a compilation for social media or a presentation.

Why use our Video Merger?

Our video merger joins several clips into one continuous video. Drag clips into the order you want, and the tool stitches them together with their audio intact. It takes up to 10 clips totalling 5 minutes, all at the same resolution, in MP4, WebM, MKV, or MOV, and runs entirely in your browser on WebCodecs, driven by the Mediabunny library. Nothing is uploaded, so private footage stays on your device. The output carries no watermark, unlike most online video editors, and there are no usage limits.

The Video Merger joins multiple video clips into one continuous file. Add your clips, arrange them in the order you want, and the tool concatenates the picture and audio into a single video entirely in your browser.

Unlike server-based editors that upload your files, queue them, and watermark the output, this tool processes everything locally. Your videos never leave your device. There are no signups and no watermark on the result. This first version accepts at most 10 clips totalling 5 minutes and requires every clip to share the same resolution, because the merged video uses one fixed frame size — resize mismatched clips first with the Video Resizer. To trim a clip before merging use the Video Trimmer, and to change the final file's format use the Video Format Converter.

This tool is ideal for combining split phone recordings, building highlight reels, and assembling simple edits without installing software. Combined with the other FindUtils media tools, you get a complete browser-based video workflow.

How it compares

Most online video mergers require you to upload every clip to a remote server, wait in a processing queue, and download a watermarked result. For large files this is slow, and for private footage it means handing your videos to a third party. Tools like Clideo, Kapwing, and VEED offer merging but cap usage and add branding.

The FindUtils Video Merger runs entirely in your browser. There is no upload, no queue, and no watermark. You arrange the clips visually and merge them on your device. The trade-off is that this version caps a merge at 10 clips totalling 5 minutes and requires them to share one resolution, which keeps the merge fast and reliable. Resize clips first if they differ.

Tips for Best Results

  • All clips must have the same width and height. Resize mismatched clips first with the Video Resizer.
  • Use the arrows to order clips before merging — the number badge shows the final play order.
  • Clips without an audio track get matching silence so the merged audio stays in sync.
  • A merge accepts at most 5 minutes across all the clips, so trim longer footage before you add it.
  • Trim each clip first with the Video Trimmer if you only want part of it in the final video.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I merge videos online?

Upload your clips, arrange them in order with the up and down arrows, then click Merge Videos. The joined file downloads with no watermark and no signup.

Are my videos uploaded to a server?

No. The clips are decoded and joined in your browser and the video files never leave your device. The page loads ad and analytics scripts as most sites do, and they never see your files.

Why must all clips have the same resolution?

The merged video uses one fixed frame size, so every clip must match it. If your clips differ, resize them to the same dimensions first with the Video Resizer, then merge.

Does the merger keep the audio?

Yes. The audio from each clip is joined along with the picture. Clips that have no audio get matching silence so the merged track stays in sync.

Can I change the order of the clips?

Yes. Each clip has up and down arrows. The number badge shows the order the clips will play in the final merged video.

How many clips can I merge at once?

You can merge up to 10 clips in one go, and their combined length must be 5 minutes or less. A selection over either cap is rejected rather than merged slowly, so trim the longer clips first with the Video Trimmer.

Is there a watermark on the merged video?

No. The output has no watermark and no branding. It is ready to upload or share immediately.

What format is the merged video?

The output uses the container of the first clip: an MP4 or MOV first clip produces an MP4, while a WebM or MKV first clip produces a WebM.
