Tool is Under Maintenance
Free Music Library is currently under maintenance while we make improvements. It will be back shortly.
About the Free Music Library
The Free Music Library is not open yet. This page holds no tracks: there is no audio file behind it, nothing plays, and nothing downloads. It is published so the address stays stable while the library is built, and it shows a maintenance notice in place of a player.
The plan is a catalog of background tracks for video, podcast and stream work, filterable by mood, genre, BPM and instrument, where every track is published together with its source and the license terms that apply to it. That last part is why the page is empty rather than populated: a music library is only useful if the rights behind each track are recorded and checkable, and until that record exists for a track, the track is not offered here.
The FindUtils media tools that do work are separate from this page. If you already have audio, the Audio Trimmer cuts it to length and the Audio Format Converter changes its format. For the text side of a post, the YouTube Description Generator, the Hashtag Generator, the Caption Generator and the Social Media Calendar Generator are live.
How it compares
Paid catalogs such as Epidemic Sound, Artlist and Musicbed license music by subscription. Free-to-use catalogs such as the YouTube Audio Library, the Free Music Archive, Pixabay Music and Incompetech publish tracks under stated terms. Whichever you use, the terms attached to the individual track are the thing to read: what counts as attribution, whether commercial or monetized use is included, and how a platform's content-matching system treats the track all vary by track and by publisher.
FindUtils does not compete with any of them today, because the Free Music Library holds no tracks. This page makes no claim about what another catalog allows, and it makes no claim of its own until there is a track with a license record behind it.
