Phone Format MCP tool
findutils:phone_format Validate a phone number and format it as E.164 (+CCNNN…), international and national, using libphonenumber metadata for every country. A number with a leading "+" carries its own country; otherwise give country (ISO code such as "US", "GB", "TR") or country_code (calling code such as "1", "44", "90"). Returns valid=false with a reason instead of raising for numbers that are not valid.
Arguments
application/json-
phone
string required
The raw phone number (may include spaces, dashes, dots and parentheses).
-
country
string optional
ISO 3166-1 alpha-2 region used when the number has no "+", e.g. "US", "GB", "TR". Takes precedence over country_code.
-
country_code
string optional
ITU calling code without "+" used when the number has no "+" and no country is given, e.g. "1", "44", "90". Default: "1".
