findutils:hash_generate Hash text with MD5, SHA-1, SHA-256, or SHA-512. Returns hex digest.
Arguments

The text to hash.

Hash algorithm. Defaults to SHA-256. One of
MD5 · SHA-1 · SHA-256 · SHA-512. Default"SHA-256".
