# Markdown To Html — REST API endpoint `markdown-to-html`

Convert Markdown to HTML, including GFM tables, task lists, nested lists, strikethrough, fenced code and autolinks. Raw HTML in the source is escaped rather than passed through, and link and image destinations are restricted to http, https, mailto and tel.

## Input schema

| `fullDocument` | boolean | no | Wrap the output in a minimal HTML5 document (doctype, charset, viewport, title). Default false, which returns a fragment you can paste into a CMS field or a template. Default: `false`. |
| `title` | string | no | Title for the wrapped document. Ignored unless fullDocument is true. Defaults to the first H1, then to "Document". |
